What’s Your Home’s Sun Number Score?

Did you know the Minnesota based company, Sun Number has teamed up with Zillow to share a home’s Sun Number Score with potential buyers. Homes are scored on a scale from 1-100. The higher the number, the more solar energy potential.

The Sun Number Score technology uses a detailed roof analysis to determine how much roof area is suitable for solar based on pitch, orientation, and size of each roof plane, as well as the amount of sunlight the roof receives. Other factors that impact the score include local cost of electricity, local cost of solar, and local climate and weather conditions.
