May 2020 is National Nurses Month!

A Message from Virginia Hospital Center’s Chief Nursing Officer, Melody Dickerson (MSN, RN, CPHQ)

This week (May 4 – 8) is National Nurses Week, which honors the nearly 3 million registered nurses nation-wide for saving lives and maintaining the health of millions. I have never been more proud of the nurses at Virginia Hospital Center than I am this year. They have been selfless in their efforts to provide the best patient care during this unprecedented time.

We are making Nurses Week a full month to celebrate the people who keep our community healthy. I will be sharing the videos of our inspiring award and scholarship winners later this month. See the videos here.
